Russian helicopter gunships were recorded hovering over Crimean Tatars’ Sary-Su village in Russian-occupied Crimea.

Head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"The Russian military helicopters circle over Crimean Tatars' Sary-Su village in Russian-occupied Crimea...," he wrote.

According to Chubarov, such methods of moral coercion exerted by the Russian occupation troops against the ethnic minority have also been recently observed in other areas of the Crimean Tatar residence.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, delivering his annual address to the parliament, said human rights violations committed by Russia in the occupied territories require imposition of additional sanctions.
