Last respect is paid to Ukrainian soldier killed in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO).

The farewell ceremony was held in Hulchenko's hometown of Tatarbunary in the Odesa region yesterday. 31-year-old Sergeant Junior Roman Hulchenko fell in the battle near Avdiivka, Censor.NET reports.

Hulchenko was killed during the militants' shelling, leaving his 6-year-old daughter orphaned.

He served in the Ukrainian army under contract since 2008. Hulchenko performed combat missions in the Donbas since the first days of the anti-terrorist operation and was awarded with the Medal for Courage of II level.
