One of the best fighters in boxing Vasyl Lomachenko (8-1, 6 KOs) dominated his WBO junior featherweight title defense before Sosa's own corner stopped the fight after the ninth round.
Lomachenko completed the Ukrainian sweep for the night, as his good friends and Olympic teammates, cruiserweight titleholder Oleksandr Usyk and light heavyweight contender Oleksandr Hvozdyk, also won their fights at the MGM National Harbor, Censor.NET reports.Oleksandr Usyk (12-0) defended his WBO cruiserweight title with a 117-110 unanimous decision over Mike Hunter (12-1), while Oleksandr Hvozdyk (13-0, 11 KOs) won by a third-round TKO over Yuniesky Gonzalez to unify the NABF and NABO light heavyweight belts.
