Lifting immunity of MP Dobkin: regulation committee hearing. LIVE

The regulation committee of the Verkhovna Rada during its session on July 12 is considering a motion by Prosecutor General of Ukraine on giving consent for prosecution, detention, and arrest of people's deputy Mykhailo Dobkin, Opposition Bloc.

Law enforcers say that Dobkin's activities bear signs of deliberate collusion of a group of persons with the purpose of abuse of office and assisting fraud aimed at seizing 78 hectares of land plots in Kharkiv worth more than 220 million hryvnia.

Earlier, Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko filed a motion to the Verkhovna Rada on obtaining their consent for prosecution, detention, and arrest of Opposition Bloc MP Mykhailo Dobkin.
