G7 ambassadors call for resumption of work of Supreme Council of Justice
The G7 ambassadors publicly issued a statement about the criticality of the launch of the High Council of Justice.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the official Twitter account of the G7 ambassadors.
"We expect that in January the Congress of Judges will appoint 8 new members of the High Council of Justice. This will restore the work of the Supreme Council of Justice, strengthen Ukraine's stability during the war and fulfill a key condition for Ukraine's path to the EU," the message says.
It will be recalled that Vitaly Shabunin, the head of the Communist Party of Ukraine, expressed his fear that the delegates of the congress of judges plan to fail the election of their representatives to the Supreme Council of Justice (HCJ). He noted that congress delegates will try to fail to elect their representatives to the VRP in sufficient numbers. And those who are elected will be representatives of the judicial mafia.
