28 allies demand in writing from Hungary to resume work of Ukraine-NATO Commission, - Stefanishyna

28 NATO allies demand in writing from Hungary to resume the work of the Ukraine-NATO Commission at the highest level.
This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olha Stefanishyna, Censor.NET informs with reference to Interfax-Ukraine.
"Today, out of 30 allies, 28 demand in writing from Hungary to renew the work of the Commission. This is the official position recorded by the allies. There are several tools of political pressure, and they will be used by all," Stefanishyna said.
According to her, before the start of the war, this discussion consisted of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Hungary.
"Today it is obvious that such a position of Hungary cannot withstand any criticism, and it is completely incompatible with the challenges and issues that need to be discussed. Because the meetings of the Commission at the level of presidents or at least ministers are vital. It is not just about holding regular political meetings, this is a vital necessity - to hold official meetings, form official decisions and, accordingly, plan further defense, political support, and membership issues," the vice-prime minister stressed.
We remind you that since 2017, Hungary has been blocking meetings of the Ukraine-NATO Commission above the level of ambassadors.
