Confrontation between Ministry of Defense of Russian Federation and PMC "Wagner" is intensifying, - ISW

US intelligence confirmed the conclusion of ISW experts that the confrontation between the Ministry of Defense of Russia and PMC "Wagner" is intensifying.
As Censor.NET reports with reference to RBC-Ukraine, this is stated in the report of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
According to US intelligence, a split is forming between the leaders of the "Wagner" PMC and the officials of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation due to the long-term confrontation at the front.
Recently, the PMC has become the "center of military power" with its 50,000-strong group. ISW continues to monitor the development of the conflict between the "Wagner" PMC and the Ministry of Defense of Russia in the information space.
At the same time, the Russian military is deliberately avoiding direct recognition of the participation of the "Wagner" PMC troops in the declared capture of Klishchivka, Donetsk region, on January 19.
Despite the internal conflict, the group of mercenaries is forced to rely on the Russian Ministry of Defense for the supply of heavy military equipment. Although the fighters of the "Wagner" PMC can independently operate the tanks and aircraft provided by him, they continue to rely on the personnel army for logistical support and maintenance.
