Two Ukrainian soldiers killed in mortar, tank strike at Avdiivka, - Staff
Two Ukrainian servicemen were killed by shelling that impacted positions of a separate mechanized brigade carrying out combat missions on the outskirts of Avdiivka in the Donetsk direction.
Censor.NET reports citing the update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center."Our positions in this direction were shelled with heavy weapons banned by the Minsk deal, namely a tank, 120 mm and 82 mm mortars.
"The situation in ATO zone remains tense. The intensity of attacks along the entire demarcation line significantly increased at night. Nine servicemen were wounded in action while two more received combat traumas. Our defenders gave a fitting rebuff to the enemy by opening fire in response.
"The losses of the Russian occupation forces are being clarified," the situation report reads.
