Terrorists Shell and Blow Up Donetsk Railway Tracks

The terrorists damaged rails and overhead system on the tracksides of Donetsk - Northern Donetsk, North Donetsk - Yasynuvata, Postnykove - Torez and also on the Torez station of the Donetsk railway on July 29.

The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine press service informed Censor.NET that it is impossible to estimate the amount of damage.

In particular, the wires of trolley system on the up track are torn by artillery shelling on the trackside of Donetsk - Northern Donetsk. The down railway track is damaged by projectile explosion at 1,131st km of Donetsk - Northern Donetsk trackside.

Railway employees discovered 1 meter diameter shell crater that damaged the rails on trackside of Kondrashevskyi - Olkhove. The movement of trains on the trackside is not performed.

In addition, the house of a crossing tender was damaged during the artillery shelling at the 13th km of the Manuilivka - Depreradivka trackside. The railway operator was not injured.
