Leaving Luhansk Airport, Ukrainian Soldiers Killed Over 100 Russian Mercenaries

During the retreat of Ukrainian troops from the Luhansk airport they killed more than 100 Russian mercenaries and destroyed their military equipment.

This was stated by the ATO press center on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

There is a confirmed information that during the retreat from the airport of Luhansk Ukrainian troops destroyed seven armored personnel carriers, two tanks, a mortar detachment and killed about 100 terrorists.

"After a fire attack on the militants' base near Snizhne over 100 Russian mercenaries were killed," the statement says.

The ATO press center also notes that on the night of August 3 the number of attacks on Ukrainian positions significantly increased to over 20 attacks.

"In particular, the positions of our troops close to Peremohy village were three times fired upon by Smerch multiple rocket launcher system. Also, our positions were shelled by artillery and mortars in the vicinity of Krasnyi Yar, Stanytsia-Luhanska, Vesela Hora, Luhanske, Debaltseve," the statement says.
