Convoy of Terrorist Armored Vehicles Destroyed Close to Mariupol

On September 4, the ATO personnel destroyed a convoy of the enemy’s armored vehicles near the village of Shyrokyne 20 km away from Mariupol.

This is stated by the press service of the National Guard, Censor.NET reports.

"Yesterday, September 4, in the afternoon, an unidentified convoy of armored vehicles numbering up to 5 tanks, 3 self-propelled artillery vehicles, a BM-21 Grad system, and personnel with mortars and other heavy weapons broke through from Bezymenne near Novoazovskiy to the town of Shyrokyne, which is 20 km east of Mariupol," the statement says.

According to the National Guard, the terrorists set up near the village and started firing at the Ukrainian troops positions.

"In the course of the armed clashes, through coordinated actions of the ATO personnel, the enemy was destroyed. The measures to detect and neutralize the remains of the armed terrorist groups are currently under way," the press service noted.
