Requisitioning in Donbas: DPR Terrorists Announce Confiscation of "Excess" Grain from Farmers
Farmers must register ownership right of their grain until the end of September, otherwise it will be confiscated.
According to Censor.NET, the self-proclaimed "Donetsk People's Republic" says it will confiscate "unregistered grain" from farmers.
According to the statement, the terrorist organization requires farmers of the Donetsk region to register their ownership right of their grain.
At that, all the farmers have to do it in 5 days - until the end of September. In the event of failing to register by October 1, "the discovered unaccounted grain will be transferred to the property of the DPR."
"Acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of the DPR terrorist Aleksey Krasilnikov explained that to register the grain farmers must submit proof that they are owners of the grain and not middlemen.
"We identify such people and conduct a special investigation in each case. Indeed, more often than not it is the dealers who want to transport the grain and not its owners or simply those who stole the grain," the press center quotes Krasilnikov.
"There will be no surplus appropriation system as in the 20s of the last century," he promised, saying that all this is done to benefit farmers.
