Consideration of Savchenko’s Complaint Against Psychiatric Examination Decision Postponed to October 13 - Lawyer

The Moscow's Basmanny court postponed Ukrainian pilot Nadia Savchenko’s trial to October 13 at the request of the defense.

Ukrainian pilot Savchenko's lawyer Nikolai Polozov wrote about this on his account on Twitter, Censor.NET reports.

"The processing of Savchenko's file was delayed until 01.10 pm. At 04:00 the court has approved defense's application to postpone the trial in connection with the desire of Nadia Savchenko to be personally present at the litigation," he said.

"The court has decided to conduct closed court trial against Savchenko. The investigation filed an application to hold law proceedings in the closed mode not because it concerns about Savchenko but not to disgrace itself before the public in the court," the Ukrainian pilot's defender said.
