Border Guards Repelled Attack of Subversive Group Landed From a Freight Train near Mariupol - NSDC

The border guards of the Donetsk detachment repulsed the attack of a reconnaissance and sabotage group consisting of about 15 people who landed from a freight train traveling from Donetsk to Mariupol.

NSDC speaker Andrii Lysenko stated this at a briefing, Censor.NET reports.

"The Donetsk border guard detachment servicemen revealed a subversive reconnaissance group of about 15 people who landed near the railway crossing of the Zaporizhia-Novoselivka road yesterday at 10:10 pm from a freight train, which was moving from Donetsk to Mariupol. The saboteurs retreated to the territory controlled by the militants during the combat. The ATO forces are conducting activities to mop up the area where the subversives were spotted," Lysenko said.

"There were no violations of the Ukrainian airspace registered for the past day," he added.
