Rada strips MP Bakulin of immunity, authorizes his detention

As reported by a correspondent for Censor.NET, 274 MPs voted in favor of stripping the lawmaker of immunity.

Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko requested the Verkhovna Rada to support these decisions citing corruption charges brought against Bakulin.

274 lawmakers supported the decision to prosecute Bakulin, 252 MPs voted in favor of remanding him in pre-trial custody and 240 cast their votes for his arrest.
