Ukrainian army reports no battlefield casualties amidst 38 militants’ attacks in past day, - ATO HQ

Combined Russian-separatist forces kept breaching agreement on sustained ceasefire in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone yesterday by carrying out 38 attacks on the Ukrainian troops.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the ATO headquarters press center as of April 11, 2018.

"At Donetsk section of the forefront, the invaders bombarded the Ukrainian troops’ defenses near Pisky village and Butivka mine with 120-mm mortars banned by the Minsk agreements, 82-mm mortars and grenade launchers of various systems. The enemy shelled suburbs of Novotroitske with 82-mm mortars and committed strikes with tank armament on the outskirts of Kamianka. The militants also bombarded the defenders of Avdiivka, Talakivka, Marinka, Vodiane and Pyshchevyk with grenade launchers; employed large-caliber machine guns against defenders of Kamianka, Hnutove, Opytne, Vodiane, Pisky, Novotroitske and Pavlopil; fired upon the ATO forces positions in the vicinity of Hnutove, Pisky, Nevelske and Pyshchevyk with the armament of infantry fighting vehicles. Moreover, the ATO forces deployed near Avdiivka, Lebedynske, Kamianka, Butivka mine, Talakivka, Vodiane and Hnutove came under small arms fire. Sniper attacks were recorded near Marinka.

"In Luhansk direction, the militants shelled the Ukrainian troops’ strong points near Troitske with banned 120-mm mortars and employed small arms against defenders of Stanytsia Luhanska.

"No Ukrainian soldier was killed or injured in action over the past 24-hour period," the situation report reads. 

Earlier, Russian proxies committed 64 attacks on Ukrainian military personnel on April 10.
