Persecution of Tatars in Russian-occupied Crimea: invaders detain two activists, another one cannot be reached. PHOTOS
The occupying authorities of Crimea raided the house of Crimean Tatar Osman Belialov in Bakhchisarai.
"Osman was not home when the search was carried out. He left for Simferopol on some business but has never arrived there. We cannot reach him," Crimean Solidarity NGO wrote on social media, Censor.NET reports.
Moreover, the law enforcers reportedly detained Selim Teifukov and Eldar Umerov who were filming them conducting the search.

"First, police officers approached the guys and asked to show their IDs after which the activists were detained by masked people. They are now in custody," the statement reads.
It is noted that Belialov is an activist of Crimean Solidarity NGO who helps families of political prisoners solve social and domestic problems, takes active part in organizing celebrations of holidays.
Belialov has three preschool-age children. The youngest one is only 2.5 months old. In addition, he now takes care of the family of his brother - political prisoner Memet Belialov, who was unreasonably arrested and is now held in jail. His parents have health issues: mother suffers from diabetes and has blood pressure problems.
The NGO recalled that Belialov had earlier been convicted of committing an administrative offense and was fined 10,000 rubles (about $146). He was charged with participating in an allegedly unauthorized rally outside Bakhchisarai-based Salachik cafe on May 12, 2016 which took place after the activists found out that Russian "law enforcers" were conducting searches in the homes of Crimean Tatars. Similar administrative charges were brought against four more residents of Bakhchisarai then.
