Russia tests experimental weapons in Donbas, intelligence reports

Russia proxies in Donbas have stepped up preparations to enhance reconnaissance and sabotage activities in the Joint Forces operation area.

The occupants’ reconnaissance and sabotage groups are manned with trained intelligence specialists arriving in the east of Ukraine from Russia. Such groups are intended to rapidly detect targets on the front line and in the rear of Ukraine’s military.
In addition, Russia continues to use temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions as a testing ground for new weapons.
As reported, the latest reconnaissance equipment and experimental weapons have been brought from the territory of the Russian Federation to reinforce militants as well as for the purpose of better dealing with unmanned aerial vehicles.
