Minister of Social Policy: minimum wage in Ukraine increased up to rates of 2014

The minimum wage in Ukraine has reached the rate of 2014.
According to Censor.NET, this was stated by Minister of Social Policy Andrii Reva on the Newsone TV channel.
"Now in Ukraine the minimum wage is equal to the sum it was at the start of Russian aggression in Ukraine. Then we lost 20 percent of our industrial potential. We lost our territories and faced huge economic problems. The state budget was looted and we had only UAH 108 thousands on the state treasury account. It would be wrong to say we were moving slowly to the EU. In fact, from 2010 till 2014 we were moving in unknown direction. And we spent these five years on overcoming the consequences of the Russian aggression," Reva said.
He indicated that the government was not able to return scale of pension up to the rates of 2014.
"The average salary has reached the pre-war rates as well as the minimum wage. We did not manage to do the same with scale of pension, but the reason for this was the reduction of the unified social tax rate by almost 40 percent," summed up the minister.
