Businessman wounded in Kyiv gun attack by five foreigners

Businessman was shot with a traumatic weapon on the territory of a vegetable base in Kyiv.

Censor.NET reports citing prosecutor's office report. 

Five foreigners were served with charges. It is noted that in the course of operational-search measures, law enforcement officers managed to install cars on which the attackers escaped from the scene of the event, and detain them themselves.

The arrested were four citizens of Azerbaijan and a citizen of Georgia aged 19 to 37 years.

Currently, all the detainees announced suspicions under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism committed by a group of persons using firearms).

On April 10, 2019, the Kyiv local prosecutor's office No. 4 submitted to the court a petition for the suspect to elect a preventive measure in the form of detention.
