Ukrainian Armed Forces do not fight with units of regular Russian army
The Ukrainian army does not fight with the regular units of the Russian Armed Forces.
This was stated by Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.
According to him, Ukraine has proof of involvement of some Russian troops in the illegal armed groups.
"Today, we have facts of participation of Russian servicemen, citizens of the Russian Federation in the illegal armed groups in the armed hostilities. We do not conduct battle actions with the units of regular troops of the Russian army," Muzhenko said during Kyiv meeting with foreign military attaches accredited in Ukraine.
However, Muzhenko noted that the Ukrainian servicemen have "enough resources to deal a final, even defeating, blow to the illegal armed groups."
