UN Secretary General believes Minsk talks should end crisis in Donbas

The UN head welcomes intensive diplomatic efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement and fulfil the Minsk Agreements.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon expects the upcoming talks in Minsk to end the conflict in Ukraine, his spokesman Farhan Haq stated, Censor.NET reports citing Rosbalt.

Ban Ki-moon hopes that the Normandy format and the meeting of the contact group in Minsk will encourage the sides of the conflict to end it and respect sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.
