40 wounded soldiers evacuated from Debaltseve by back roads

Kirovohrad car battalion managed to evacuate 40 soldiers wounded in Debaltseve clashes to Artemivsk hospital before the beginning of the cease-fire.

The rescuers tried to evacuate the injured servicemen several times over the past few days, but had to return each time because the road was shelled, Censor.NET reports citing Hromadske.tv

According to a Kirovohrad car battalion soldier, they had to blaze a trail through the fields since Luhanske and Lohvynove sector is still blocked by the pro-Russian militants.

Earlier Censor.NET reported that 24 policemen stayed in Debaltseve, helping civilians around the clock.
