Militants seize part of Debaltseve – ATO speaker

Ukrainian units defending Debaltseve conduct maneuvers and open deterrent fire in response.

This was stated during a briefing of the ATO speaker Andrii Lysenko, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainian News.

"The militants have not stopped firing throughout the whole day ... as a result a part of the city of Debaltseve was captured by them," Lysenko said.

According to him, the units defending the city conduct maneuvers and open deterrent fire in response. Lysenko also reported 40 terrorists attacks on Debaltseve on Tuesday and confirmed the capture of a group of the Ukrainian soldiers at the entrance to Debaltseve by the militants.
