Poroshenko Registers Law on 'Certain Districts of Donbas'

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has introduced a new draft law to the Verkhovna Rada. The document is called 'Draft Resolution on the Determination of Specific Regions,Cities, Towns and Villages of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions, with a Special Procedure for Local Government,' Censor.NET reports citing Еspresо.TV.

Draft № 2374 as of March 14, 2015, has been published on the web site of the Verkhovna Rada and passed to the leadership of the Parliament.

Official Kyiv has pledged to adopt a law defining "certain districts of the Donbas with a special procedure of local self-government," in Minsk Agreement Protocol as of Sept. 5, 2014.

Earlier, Poroshenko said that the contractor for the construction of fortifications in the Donbas will be determined in the nearest future.
