Russian troops strengthen their positions in Zaporizhzhia direction, - Khlan

Russian troops are moving part of their forces from Kakhovka and Nova Kakhovka closer to Zaporizhzhia region border.
This was stated on the air of Channel 24 by a Deputy of the Kherson Regional Council Serhiy Khlan, informs Censor.NЕТ with a reference to Ukrinform.
"A large number of racists moved from Kakhovka and Nova Kakhovka to Nyzhny Sirohozy, which are located on the Kherson-Melitopol highway, just on the border with Zaporizhzhia region. And there the occupiers built fortifications along these main roads. And now the occupants want to reinforce the Zaporizhzhia direction and consider a possible offensive of our Armed Forces from Zaporizhzhia. Therefore, the occupiers are redeploying their main forces, reinforcing their checkpoints, which are located on the roads from Melitopol and Zaporizhzhia. Yes, the number of Russian military in Nova Kakhovka and Kakhovka has somewhat decreased. But unfortunately, we cannot say that they have completely left the city," said the Deputy of the Regional Council.
Khlan added that redeployment is underway, the enemy is leaving its observation posts, but the Russians have not completely withdrawn from Kakhovka and Nova Kakhovka. Their presence there is still quite significant.
