Bulgaria has started operation to deliver military aid to Ukraine

Today, December 23, the Bulgarian authorities started a "logistics operation" during which military and military-technical aid will be sent to Ukraine.
As Censor.NET informs, this was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the country.
"From today, a logistics operation will begin, within the framework of which the approved aid will be sent to Ukraine," Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Hramatikova said.
She added that the Ministry of Defense of Bulgaria will propose to the Council of Ministers to approve an additional agreement between the Ministries of Defense of Bulgaria and Ukraine on amendments to the Agreement on the free supply of weapons, equipment, and ammunition, signed on December 5, 2022, and ratified by the National Assembly.
The head of defense, Admiral Emil Eftimov, assured that Bulgaria offered a certain set of weapons and equipment, after an operational analysis of the situation at the front and in the rear. He also emphasized confidentiality and protection of information during negotiations or providing military assistance.
"Each country has its own approach to consolidated public opinion and the state of negotiations with other countries. At this stage, we do not consider it appropriate to disclose which countries we are discussing such information with, but I can confirm that the land plot is being discussed," he said.
