Ukraine has preserved power system integrity, but deficit is significant - Ukrenergo
Ukraine has maintained the controllability and integrity of the energy system after the Russian missile attack on January 14, but there is a significant deficit in the system.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Board of NPC "Ukrenergo" Volodymyr Kudrytsky in Facebook, reports Censor.NЕТ.
"12th massive missile attack on the energy system of Ukraine. Today Russian terrorists targeted power plants and substations of Ukrenergo. Thanks to the Defence Forces of Ukraine and the measures taken by power engineers during the attacks, the controllability and integrity of the power system is preserved. However, the deficit in the system is significant. The situation is difficult in Kharkiv and Lviv regions. There, as well as in other regions, repair teams are already working and the elimination of the consequences of the attack continues. We are doing everything necessary to restore power supply as soon as possible.
Coordinated work of the military and power engineers does not allow the enemy to achieve the main goal - to plunge the whole country into cold and darkness. Now the power generation is gaining capacity and the power supply to consumers is being restored. We will resist and win.
Our thoughts are with Dnipro, where a Russian missile destroyed a high-rise building, killing and injuring dozens of people. Our sincere condolences to the families of the victims and a speedy recovery to the wounded," he said.
