Ruscists cannot put into operation any power unit of ZNPP, - "Energoatom"

Part of the Ukrainian staff of the ZNPP refuses to cooperate with the occupiers.

This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press service of "Energoatom".

"The Russians cannot start up any power unit of the temporarily occupied ZNPP. Due to the refusal of part of the Ukrainian staff of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant to cooperate with the occupiers, as well as the lack of their own personnel, the Russians can neither start-up nor operate the plant's power units," the message says.

According to Energoatom, the Russians drove themselves into a staffing shortage by blocking access to the station to nearly 1,500 Ukrainian employees of the ZNPP, who refused to receive Russian passports and sign a contract with the fake JSC "Operating Organization of the Zaporizhzhya NPP" or another Rosatom enterprise.

"To improve their own situation, the invaders are looking for "new" nuclear workers for the ZNPP on the territory of the Russian Federation and are ready to resettle future workers in nationalized, or rather - forcibly taken, apartments of energy donors who left the occupied city.

In addition, the gradual degradation of specialized equipment, which was caused by the rashists with their mismanagement due to non-compliance with the required temperature regime, is also preventing the units from being started," the company explained.

Also, "Energoatom" added, they continue to erect fortifications and build military facilities around the power units of the Zaporizhzhya NPP and the dry storage of spent nuclear fuel (SSF).

"Such actions of the Russians are categorically unacceptable and violate all existing norms of nuclear and radiation safety.
Once again, we call on the world community to facilitate the withdrawal of the Russian military from the territory of the ZNPP and Energodar as soon as possible, to demilitarize the plant and return it to the full control of Ukraine! This will save the world not only from a nuclear but also from a large-scale ecological disaster!" - summed up in "Energoatom".
