Canada has already purchased NASAMS system for Ukraine - Austin

Following the eighth meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine’s Defense at the "Ramstein" military base in Germany, U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced that Ukraine would receive additional air defense equipment.

This is stated by Censor.NЕТ with reference to "European truth".

Austin recalled that several countries have already offered to help strengthen Ukraine's air defense, mentioning France, Britain, and Germany, the latter offering to send a Patriot battery.

"The Netherlands is also providing Patriot missiles and launchers, as well as training on this system. In addition, Canada has purchased the NASAMS system and related equipment for Ukraine," the Pentagon chief added.
