This was stated by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, іnforms Censor.NЕТ with reference t ZN.ua.
"The number of casualties in wars is always doubtful. Last time when I talked about Russia's losses, I expressed them as more than 100 thousand. I can say that now it is much more. Russia is suffering very serious losses. This applies to both the regular army and mercenary groups, including Wagner," the American general said.
Milley reminded that Russia has now announced the mobilization of another 300,000 people to the front. "I think they will mobilize about 250 thousand. That means they have to make huge replacements," he added.
The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff emphasized that Ukraine has also suffered very serious losses, including among the civilian population.
