US does not exclude supply of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine

Deputy White House National Security Adviser John Feiner said that the US is ready to "very carefully" discuss with Kyiv and its allies the idea of supplying fighter jets to Ukraine.
Feiner said this on American television, Censor.NET informs with reference to Ukrinform.
"We did not exclude any specific systems. We tried to adapt our assistance to the phase of the battle in which the Ukrainians are," Feiner noted in the context of the question about providing Ukraine with American F-16 fighter jets.
At the same time, at a press briefing at the US Ministry of Defense, Pentagon Deputy Spokesperson Sabrina Singh did not confirm (but did not deny) the intention to provide Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets. In particular, she noted that the United States "is not going to take anything off the table" in terms of broad discussions on aid to Ukraine.
In addition, the representative of the Pentagon repeated the position of official Washington that the USA intends to "provide Ukraine with what it needs in the short and long term".
