Financial "Ramstein" highly appreciated actions of Ukrainian government - White House
On Thursday, representatives of G7 countries, European Union, international financial institutions and Ukraine held an inaugural meeting of Joint Donor Coordination Platform Steering Committee for Ukraine.
It was stated in announcement of the White House, informs Censor.NЕТ referring to Ukrinform.
"Representatives of the G7 countries, the government of Ukraine and international financial institutions discussed how to better coordinate economic support to meet Ukraine's immediate financing needs and future economic recovery as well as reconstruction efforts," the statement said.
The forum participants pledged to work closely with the Ukrainian authorities to prioritize and sequence strategic economic needs. In addition, it was agreed that the committee will promote reforms in Ukraine, coordinate economic assistance to stabilize the Ukrainian economy and support a sustainable and inclusive recovery.
It is noted that the meeting highly appreciated the CMU's management of the Ukrainian economy in the face of war, as well as the vision of a broad-based economic reform program.
