Russia seeks at least some victory by February 24 - Danilov

The Russian leadership wants to enlist as many people as possible, so it wants to mark the anniversary of the full-scale invasion with at least some kind of victory.
National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov said this during a telethon, reports Censor.NЕТ with reference to Ukrinform.
"The Russian Federation is a strange country, and some dates are crucial for them. The nearest date is February 24, when it started an active war against Ukraine. On this anniversary, they need to report to the population about something, because they need to recruit them to the army now. That's why they need to have some victories by February 24," Danilov said.
He reminded that the Russians tried to do something to mark the 100th anniversary of the USSR (December 22) and Putin's birthday (October 7): "They always have some dates, but the dates pass, and there is no solution to the issues they wanted."
