It’s risky - Erdogan opposes providing Ukraine with tanks
The provision of tanks to Ukraine by other countries will not help solve the problems created by Russia.

Erdogan noted that Turkey had taken a great initiative to resolve the situation that developed against the backdrop of Russia's armed attack on Ukraine. His country mediated the Grain Corridor, the exchange of prisoners and humanitarian aid.
However, he believes that the transfer of tanks to the Ukrainian military is a risky decision and will not help to solve the problems faster.
"We expect support for peace in Europe and the world. Negotiations are ongoing. Is the case when the US and Germany do not send tanks a solution? I cannot say that this is an element of the solution. It is risky and useful for the arms barons," Erdogan said.
