Border guards shot down the second Russian plane in a week near Bakhmut.
This was reported in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Censor.NET informs.
"It was possible to hit an aerial target, probably a Su-25 attack aircraft, from a foreign-made portable anti-aircraft missile complex. The hit caused the "bird" to smoke and begin a sharp descent," the report says.
The plane hit the ground and crashed.
"Probably, the pilot "demilitarized" together with the plane, our defenders did not see his ejection," the General Staff added.
