Electricity consumption is currently at the level of a Monday working day and remains substantial.

This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press center of "Ukrenergo".

As noted, there is currently no capacity deficit in the power system. This means that the power plants produce enough electricity to cover consumption.

"A power unit at one of the power plants has been taken out for repair. This is compensated by the increased work of hydroelectric power plants, which have sufficient resources due to hydropower. The import of electricity from Slovakia is also continuing," the message says.

According to "Ukrenergo", due to the lack of capacity, consumption limits have not been reached in the regions today. Depending on the increase in consumption, blackouts may be applied. Measurements of actual consumption in the regions of Ukraine are carried out by the schedule.

Odesa still has minor network restrictions due to damaged infrastructure.

It is also reported that energy workers are continuing emergency recovery work at several power plants that suffered significant damage from Russian missile and drone attacks. In addition, repair works are continuously being carried out on all damaged facilities of Ukrenergo main networks to eliminate network restrictions and transfer the required amount of electricity from generation to consumers.

The company reminds that more than 10 GW of the main installed capacities are currently inaccessible to the Ukrainian energy system and are under the control of the enemy. This is the largest Zaporizhzhia NPP in Ukraine and Europe, as well as Zaporizhzhia TPP, Luhansk TPP, Vuhlehirska TPP, Kakhovka HPP. In addition, the majority of wind and solar power plants are also located in the temporarily occupied territories of the south. Note that, in addition to the NPP, the rest of the power plants are key regulating capacities. They are the ones who provide cover for consumption during peak morning and evening hours.
