Russia uses sexual violence as a weapon of war. Ukrainian prosecutors record such cases wherever the Russian military was stationed.
This was announced by Prosecutor General Andrii Kostin, Censor.NET informs with reference to the press center of the Prosecutor General's Office.
As noted, Prosecutor General Andrii Kostin held a meeting with Alicia Cairns, a member of the British Parliament in Munich. It was about numerous international crimes committed by the army of the aggressor state in Ukraine, including sexual violence.
"Russia uses sexual violence as a weapon of war - we record such cases wherever the Russian military was stationed," Kostin noted.
It is also reported that Kostin and Cairns discussed ways to bring criminals to justice and compensate for damages at the expense of the aggressor state.
