Japan will provide Ukraine with additional financial assistance in amount of 5.5 billion dollars, - Prime Minister Kishida

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said at a symposium in Tokyo that the government plans to allocate another $5.5 billion to Ukraine to restore infrastructure damaged by the Russian invaders.

"There is still a need to help people whose livelihoods have been destroyed by the war and to rebuild destroyed infrastructure. We have decided to provide additional financial support of $5.5 billion," Kishida said.
Kisida also confirmed that he will invite the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to the online summit of the Group of Seven, which is scheduled for this week.
