Ukrainian champion in Cossack fighting Kyrylo Baev killed near Soledar
Kyrylo Bayev, a champion of Ukraine in Cossack fighting, a prize-winner of world competitions, a martial artist from Kharkiv, was killed near Soledar, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region. He was a volunteer of "Kraken" special forces unit of Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
As informs Censor.NЕТ, it was reported on the "Kharkiv sportive" Facebook page.
It is noted that 21-year-old Kyrylo Bayev was killed while performing a combat mission.
Baev was born in Kharkiv and studied at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of the Skovoroda Kharkiv Pedagogical University.
In 2011, he began training in martial arts, to which he devoted most of his sports career. From 2011 to 2015, he practiced judo at the Slobozhanets Sports Club.
Kyrylo Baev was a multiple champion of Kharkiv region and Ukraine in Cossack fighting, a World Cup winner and a prize-winner of the World Championship, and a prize-winner of the Ukrainian Championship in horting (a modern Ukrainian martial art).
