A court in Moscow sent a resident of Moscow under arrest for two months on charges of treason. The investigation claims that she financially helped the Armed Forces.

This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to Russian media.

A woman was detained in Moscow while trying to leave Russia.

The FSB does not disclose her identity and does not report the details of the case. They only say that she provided "financial assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine."

Treason in Russia is punishable by 12 to 20 years in prison.

This is the first case when financial aid to Ukraine became the reason for initiation of a case of high treason in Russia.

Last summer, the FSB only issued a "warning" to three Muscovites who transferred money to the Ukrainian "Return Alive" fund.
