In the course of 15 massive attacks, the enemy launched 821 cruise and ballistic missiles over Ukraine.
This was announced by Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov during a meeting with his Norwegian colleague Bjorn Arild Gram as part of his visit to Kyiv, Censor.NET reports.
As of March 10, 821 Russian missiles have already been launched over our country. These are only cruise missiles. We know for sure that every 10 applications of the NASAMS system, which Norway participated in providing, means 10 downed missiles of the aggressor, 10 saved buildings and infrastructure facilities, as well as hundreds of human lives saved, - said Oleksiy Reznikov.
In turn, the Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Norway announced the decision to allocate 7.5 billion dollars for assistance to Ukraine over the next five years. The corresponding program has been submitted to the parliament for approval. He also announced that Norway plans to transfer to Ukraine launchers, fire control points and missiles for NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems.
Norway has joined a broad international "tank coalition" to help Ukraine with a main battle tank. Personnel training is already underway and the first tanks will be in Ukraine in the near future. We also help with the strengthening of air defense. We transferred short-range "Mistral" complexes and contributed to the work on the NASAMS medium-range system.
