A special audit will be conducted to check availability and condition of Kyiv Lavra’s movable property, including relics of saints and museum exhibits.

This was stated by the Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine Oleksandr Tkachenko on the air of the telethon, informs Censor.NЕТ referring to Ukrinform.

"In addition to the real estate, there are also museum exhibits - more than 800 pieces, including relics of saints that were transferred to the monks for use, and they will be subject to a special audit," he said.

Tkachenko also warned of criminal responsibility for those who intend to relocate the monastery's movable property, including relics or museum exhibits.

"The last audit was in 2018, and all the objects are on the list. And any step that representatives of the UOC-MP can take regarding movable property and museum exhibits will be recorded, and they will be criminally liable," the minister emphasized.
