The message begins: "The Russian Federation continues to conduct offensive operations in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Mariinka, and Shakhtarsk areas. The epicenter of hostilities remains Bakhmut.
Without the desired result on the battlefield, the Russian Federation uses terror tactics against the civilian population. It is shelling cities and villages, as well as critical infrastructure facilities, disregarding the norms of International Humanitarian Law.
During the day, the enemy launched 5 missile strikes, 4 of them against objects of the civil infrastructure of the city of Zaporizhzhia. The enemy also carried out 12 airstrikes and launched more than 20 attacks from rocket salvo systems.
The probability of enemy missile strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine remains high.
In the Volyn, Polissia, Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the operational situation has become. The enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, but the formation of offensive groups has not been detected. The training of units of the territorial troops of the armed forces of the Russian Federation continues at the training grounds of the Republic of Belarus. During the day, the enemy shelled the areas of the settlements of Oleksanrivka, Chernihiv region; Kharkivka and Starikove - Sumy and Chervona Zoria, Veterynarne, Strelecha, Staritsa, Vovchansk and Veliky Burluk in Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, the enemy continues to try to break through the defenses of our troops. Enemy led unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Dibrova, Verkhniokamianske and Spirne. He carried out artillery shelling in the areas of Putnykovo, Krasne Pershe, Dvorichna, Hrianikyvka, Kupiansk, Krokhmalne and Berestove settlements of the Kharkiv region; Novoselivske, Nevske and Bilohorivka - Luhansk, as well as Spirne and Fedorivka in Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy does not stop trying to capture the city of Bakhmut. Our defenders repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Orihovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka and in the northern part of Bakhmut. In particular, Vasyukivka, Zaliznyanske, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Ivanovske, Chasiv Yar, Kurdiumivka, Ozarianivka and Severny of the Donetsk region were subjected to enemy shelling.
In the Avdiivka, Mariinka, and Shakhtarsk directions, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Kamianka, Severne, Pervomaiske, and Mariinka settlements. Kamianka, Lastochkine, Avdiivka, Tonenke, Heorhiivka, Nevelske, Mariinka, Vuhledar and Velyka Novosilka of the Donetsk region came under enemy fire.
In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is conducting defensive operations. In particular, Olhivske, Chervone, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka and Kamianske of the Zaporizhzhia region came under fire. The city of Kherson was the next to be shelled.
The Russian occupiers continue to use civilian institutions on the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region for their own needs. In particular, the enemy is using a school building in one of the settlements of Pologiv district as a field hospital with 50 beds. In this way, the occupiers are trying to shorten the period of return of personnel from the number of sanitary losses.
In Rubizhne, Luhansk region, the local occupying so-called authorities are forcing the population to obtain citizenship of the Russian Federation. Ukrainian passports are not taken from people yet, however, for employment, it is necessary to have a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation.
During the day, the Aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out 6 strikes on areas where the invaders were concentrated.
Also, this day, our defenders shot down an enemy UAV "Shakhed-136", and units of missile troops and artillery hit 7 areas of concentration of enemy personnel and military equipment in a day.
