Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 83 attacks by occupiers in five directions, epicenter of hostilities remains Bakhmut, - General Staff
Last day, the Defense Forces repelled 83 enemy attacks in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Mariinka, and Shakhtarsk directions.

Thus, the three hundred and eighty-ninth day of the Russian large-scale invasion began.
Despite the human losses, the Russian Federation continues to wage a war of aggression. The main efforts of the enemy are focused on attempts to completely capture the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. To achieve its goals, it continues offensive operations in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Mariinka, and Shakhtarsk areas. During the past day, our defenders repelled 83 attacks on this part of the front. Bakhmut remains the epicenter of hostilities.
Last day, the Russian Federation continued to use terror tactics against the civilian population of Ukraine. By shelling populated areas and critical infrastructure facilities, the enemy completely ignores the laws and customs of war.
Over the past day, the enemy launched 11 rocket attacks, 4 of them against the objects of the civil infrastructure of the city of Zaporizhzhia. Also, 16 airstrikes and 99 attacks from rocket salvo systems by the occupiers were recorded.
The probability of further strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine remains high.
The operational situation remains stable in the Volyn, Polissia, Siversk, and Slobozhansk directions. During the day, the enemy shelled the areas of Oleksandrivka and Kliusy settlements of the Chernihiv region; Kharkivka, Starykove, Volfyne of the Sumy region, and Chervona Zoria, Veterynarne, Strilecha, Starytsia, Vovchansk, and Velyky Burluk in the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, the enemy continues to try to break through the defenses of our troops. It led unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Kreminna, Dibrova, Verkhnokamianske, and Spirne settlements. Conducted artillery shelling of Putnykove, Krasne Pershe, Dvorichna, Hrianykivka, Kupiansk, Krokhmalne, and Berestove settlements of Kharkiv region; Novoselivske, Nevske, and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, as well as Spirne and Fedorivka in the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut, units of the Defense Forces repelled numerous enemy attacks in the northern part of the city of Bakhmut, as well as in the areas of the settlements of Orihovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, and Bohdanivka. Vasiukivka, Zaliznianske, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Kurdiumivka, Ozarianivka and Pivnichne of the Donetsk region came under enemy fire.
In the Avdiivka, Mariinka, and Shakhtarsk directions, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Kamianka, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, as well as Mariinka, which the occupiers attacked 15 times. Kamianka, Lastochkine, Avdiivka, Tonenka, Heorhiivka, Nevelske, Mariinka, Vuhledar, and Velyka Novosilka of the Donetsk region came under enemy fire.
The enemy is defending in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions. In particular, Olhivske, Chervone, Huliaypole, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka, and Kamianske of the Zaporizhzhia region came under fire. The city of Kherson and Antonivka were shelled again.
During the past 24 hours, the Air Force of the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out 10 strikes on areas where the occupiers are concentrated. At the same time, the "Shakhed-136" UAV was shot down, and our rocket launchers and gunners hit 7 areas of concentration of enemy personnel and military equipment.
