The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhny awarded the senior soldier of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade named after Ivan Sirko Ruslan Zubarev with the Golden Cross medal and presented him with a well-deserved award weapon.

Zaluzhny announced this on Facebook, Censor.NET informs.

"I had the honor to award the senior soldier of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade named after Ivan Sirko, Ruslan Zubarev, with the Golden Cross medal and present him with a well-deserved award weapon.
Ruslan repelled the attack of the enemy's superior forces, showed bravery and courage in battle. I am grateful to everyone who defends Motherland from the occupier. Glory to all the defenders of Ukraine!" noted Zaluzhny.

Previously, Censor.NET reported on the most adrenaline-filled battle of one soldier, which was filmed by a soldier of the 22nd motorized infantry battalion of the 92nd mechanized brigade with the call sign Predator. This battle took place on February 16 in the Svatove region. The Russian assault group on the APC-2 tried to seize the Ukrainian position with a surprise attack but encountered the exemplary organization of the battle by the units of the 22nd battalion, all the commanders, aerial scouts, mortars, and the crew of the APC worked "excellently", but the key contribution to the victory in the battle was made by the soldiers Khyzhak.
