Czech Republic does not object to Chinese mediation if it will hasten end of war

The Czech government has no objection to China’s mediation if it would bring an end to the war.
This was stated by the Minister of Defense of the Czech Republic, Yana Chernokhova, on the air of Czech Television, Censor.NET reports.
She expressed concern that more than a year after the start of the full-scale invasion, fighting is still ongoing. "NATO is doing everything to ensure that the situation around Russia, which caused the war in Ukraine, does not escalate further," she emphasized.
According to Chernokhova, the Alliance does not want to be drawn into the conflict and considers it logical to provide weapons and humanitarian aid to Ukraine. At the same time, she believes that it is impossible to avoid negotiations.
"It doesn't matter whether the mediator is the West or countries that may be close to Russia... The whole world must do everything possible to put an end to this horror as soon as possible. If there is someone who can do it, I will support him. I don't care, if it is China," she added.
We will remind you that in February of this year, China proposed a so-called "peace plan", which essentially provides support for the Russian occupation of Ukrainian territories. After that, in March, the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, visited Moscow and held talks with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, which ended with joint declarations of "boundless friendship" between China and Russia. It was also reported that Chinese companies supply the Russian Federation with dual-purpose goods, such as drones, and there were statements from the PRC about strengthening cooperation with the Russian army.
