Beating of soldier in UOC-MP church in Khmelnytsky: police opened proceedings
The police opened an investigation into the beating of a man in military uniform in one of the temples of the city of Khmelnytsky.
As reported by Censor.NET, Inna Hleha, the head of the communications department of the State Police of the Khmelnytsky region, commented on the video of the beating to the Suspilne.
"At the moment, all the circumstances of the event are being established, investigative and operational measures are being carried out," she said.
Proceedings are opened under Part 2 of Art. 296 - hooliganism.

The UOC of the Khmelnytskyi diocese called the beating a provocation and did not admit their guilt. "In Khmelnytsky, following the appeals of a local deputy, a man disguised in a military uniform staged a provocation right during the Divine Liturgy," the UOC said.
It is alleged that the man attacked the priest of the Holy Intercession Cathedral in Khmelnytsky, disrupted the Divine Service, poured water on and damaged the Holy Gospel in the presence of more than 100 parishioners.
