When the Ukrainian Armed Forces are on the border with Crimea and have already entered, for example, Krasnoperekopsk, Ukraine can offer Russia to withdraw its troops, but in case of refusal, it will continue the military path of liberating the peninsula, which remains a priority for the time being.

As Censor.NET informs, the permanent representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea, Tamila Tasheva, told about this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.

According to her, Ukraine has been talking for a long time about the political and diplomatic way of liberating Crimea, for which the Crimean Platform was created. After February 24, the situation changed radically, especially after the victims were seen in Bucha, Irpin, Mariupol, Izium, and so on.

"We understand now that we cannot liberate Crimea through political and diplomatic means, but we must liberate the territory. Therefore, we use the path that will be the most optimal for us at a certain moment," she emphasized.

That is why, according to Tasheva, the liberation of Crimea by military means is currently being discussed.

"Do we want to minimize casualties? We definitely want to, and President Zelensky has repeatedly said this: "I would like us to liberate Crimea by non-military means, because that would mean that there would be fewer casualties, destruction of civilian infrastructure, etc.," she said.

Tasheva did not rule out that when the Armed Forces of Ukraine are on the border with Crimea, they will already go, say, to Krasnoperekopsk, Ukraine can offer Russia the next option.

"Okay, let's talk about how you will leave Crimea. You will leave here anyway because we are already destroying your supply chains, we have cornered you. Any wars end anyway with some kind of negotiation process. If the Russians do not agree to this, we will continue to release them by military means," Tasheva explained.

Earlier, Tasheva reported that Ukraine will most likely return Crimea by military means.
