25-30 thousand occupiers are in territory of Mariupol and district, - Andriushchenko
Today, there are about three tens of thousands of Russian occupation troops in Mariupol.
This was reported by the mayor's advisor Petro Andriushchenko, Censor.NET reports with reference to Radio Liberty.
"There are 25,000 to 30,000 occupiers on the territory of Mariupol, the Mariupol district. It is clear what is the matter with the military equipment. The equipment is mostly that which should provide the infantry, there are tanks, and it is clear that the air defense system. This is the main thing that is in the territory of Mariupol or district. We have not observed any major movements recently," he noted.
The concentration of such occupying forces in the city of Andriushchenko can be explained by the expectation of a counteroffensive by the Armed Forces.
"They (the Russian invaders. - Ed.) do not yet understand from which side it (counteroffensive. - Ed.) will take place, so they simply keep reserves in case they can then quickly transfer to one or another part of the front," he added .
